We had a fabulous week down in Tasmania. Travelled over by ferry with the car. The trip out of Port Phillip Bay was fairly smooth but once we got through the heads into the open of Bass Strait, the sea was really rough. It was touch and go but I’m relieved to say that I didn’t have to resort to the travel sickness bags.

The weather was c-c-c-cold but then it was still winter!  Snow, storms and icy rain. But we still enjoyed it enormously!

We stopped in Hobart for a few days and called in for lunch with fellow Medical Romance author, Melanie Milburne. Afterwards, we visited one of her favourite places – the Hobart Botanical Gardens. Beautiful!

The trip home on the ferry was pretty torrid too. But the Melbourne skyline as we came in towards the dock was just magnificent.
