Creativity in a tent!!

I'm starting to have a much better appreciation of the tirelessness of my intrepid ancestors. They went out and made arduous journeys, kept up with daily chores without the benefit of all our "time-saving" devices, and many of them still found time to be creative and leave wonderful legacies for us - carvings, paintings, embroideries... written diaries.

I mention writing because I'm trying to do revisions in the tent. And yes, I do have a cheek mentioning this on the same page as the above paragraph surrounded as I am by an electric jug, toaster and of course the computer! Not to mention the coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer in the camp laundry. Oh the hardship! LOL

Speaking of technology... I've joined Facebook! See, old dogs can learn new tricks.
