More firsts!

My first copy edits arrived and we read them (I press-ganged Glenn :-)). I discovered to my horror that I'd changed my hero's eye colour. One minute he has green eyes then "poof", his eyes are blue. What was I thinking the day I wrote that scene!

I booked in for ARRC. My first event as a published writer. Can't wait until February!!

Revisions on the second manuscript have now gone back to my lovely editor, Lucy Gilmour.

I got invited to be a guest chatter with the Romance Writers of Australia Bootcampers. Such a thrill and an honour. They're a lovely fun group and they were very gentle. And as if chatting to them wasn't reward enough, they sent me a fab certificate and a cardpack of affirmations. I especially like this one by Robert Louis Stevenson - "Everyone who got where he is had to begin where he was."
