January 2009::
Happy New Year.
How are your resolutions? Better than mine, I hope!
Although I did make a decision to get out and try more things! So I started that well - we went to the Burrumbeet Cup on New Year's Day. The racetrack has one meeting per year and it's a fabulous family day.
We loaded up the Goldwing with folding chairs, smoked salmon, crusty bread, salad and a non-alcoholic shiraz (um, might stick to apple cider, next time).
The horse races were great but the most entertaining race of the day was the children's under-eight dash down the home straight. It's given me an idea for a scene in my next book... Just have to finish the one I'm working on first!
The fabulous ANNA CAMPBELL's latest release is available in the US right now!
She writes rivetting Regency noir and TEMPT THE DEVIL is her best yet.... and that's a very high bar indeed! Lucky me, I've had a sneak preview!
I'm hanging out for it to arrive on Australian shelves in February - it's a trade paperback with this gorgeous red cover.
Olivia and Julian's story is beautiful, deeply emotional and impossible to put down. Another Anna Campbell keeper!
